Series of earthquakes shake northern Sonoma County

The most recent quake, measured at a 3.9 magnitude, was reported at 9:11 a.m. and centered about 14 miles northeast of Healdsburg, the USGS said. The first two temblors were reported at about 4:21 a.m. Thursday, just seconds apart, and measured 3.6 and 3.7 magnitude, the USGS said. They were centered is the same general area as the latest quake. The Geysers area, near Cobb, California, is known for rampant seismic activity, though much of the earthquakes recorded there typically have magnitudes below 3.0. CHP to focus on impaired drivers as community remembers teens killed in Piedmont crash

Pair accused of stealing over $1,700 worth of jackets in Vallejo

2 arrested after over-the-counter medications theft in Vacaville

Man charged in deadly home invasion burglary in San Francisco
